Practical Empowerment: Bridging Classrooms with Industry Frontiers to Solve Talent Training Gaps
As early as 2025, NEWEVER Group reached strategic cooperation consensus with Guangdong University of Finance and jointly launched the second-classroom Cross-border Logistics Elite Cultivation Program. Centered on resource sharing, complementary advantages and industry-education integration, the program breaks the barrier between campus learning and workplace practice and builds a brand-new platform for school-enterprise collaborative talent cultivation. Targeting the core talent demands of the cross-border logistics industry, it addresses the long-standing drawback of traditional education that prioritizes theoretical teaching over practical training. Through customized curriculum development and on-site corporate training, the program creates a full-growth pathway for students from theoretical learning to post-based practice. It enables the enterprise to reserve high-quality talent echelons in a targeted manner, drives the innovative upgrading of the university’s talent training model, and achieves sound two-way empowerment and win-win cooperation between the two parties.

Since its launch, the second-classroom program has won active participation and high recognition from students of Guangdong University of Finance, thanks to its professional and targeted curriculum design, well-implemented practical training arrangements and dedicated guidance from corporate experts. It has laid a solid foundation and accumulated valuable practical experience for further in-depth cooperation. To deepen the outcomes of industry-education integration and resolve the “last-mile” pain points in talent cultivation, both parties conducted multiple rounds of discussions and careful preparations on the basis of the program’s successful practices, and officially launched a new customized school-enterprise cooperation class, upgrading their collaboration from shallow linkage to in-depth integrated development.
The core value of this customized program lies in fundamentally eliminating the disconnection between campus education and workplace requirements, as well as the separation of theory from practice in traditional teaching. It extends the terminal of talent cultivation to real corporate positions. With targeted measures including enterprise-customized courses, on-the-job practical training and workplace competency empowerment, students are able to access industry frontiers, master core job skills and familiarize themselves with full business workflows during their studies. This allows them to adapt to workplace rhythms in advance and achieve a smooth transition from students to professionals, fully demonstrating the core value of industry-education integration and collaborative talent cultivation, and injecting new vitality into talent supply for the cross-border logistics industry.

Open exclusively to outstanding students from designated majors of the School of Economics and Trade, Guangdong University of Finance, the new program features a curriculum system tailored precisely to the job requirements of the cross-border logistics industry. It adopts a dual-track training model that combines enterprise-led practical courses and university comprehensive literacy courses, enabling all-round improvement in professional capabilities and comprehensive quality.
Enterprise Practical Courses: Led by NEWEVER Group and delivered by senior industry experts and core business backbones of the enterprise, the five core courses cover Ocean Freight Forwarding and Multimodal Transport Practice, Air Freight Forwarding Business, and Customs Career Development and Skill Improvement. Focusing on core job demands, the courses strengthen practical capabilities and realize seamless alignment between what students learn and what enterprises require.
University Literacy Courses: Newly added to the training system this year, three comprehensive literacy courses including Business English Communication, Managerial Psychology and Excellent Leadership are designed to compensate for students’ workplace competency deficiencies, improve their core abilities in communication, teamwork and career planning, and cultivate well-rounded interdisciplinary talents.
The optimized curriculum system enriches training dimensions, improves the overall cultivation mechanism, and builds a full-link talent training model covering the entire cross-border logistics industry chain. It realizes comprehensive polishing of professional skills and comprehensive literacy, helps students enhance core competitiveness in an all-round way, and lays a solid foundation for their future career development.
