On June 27, the "Rise Up for Basketball, Fire on All Cylinders" NEWEVER Group 2026 Basketball Carnival came to a successful conclusion! Teams representing the Group’s branches and departments gathered through basketball and forged unity via the competition. They sweated it out and fought valiantly on the court, demonstrating the uplifting, united and enterprising spirit of the NEWEVER team.
This Basketball Carnival was more than a contest of skill and physical stamina; it also served as a communication platform for departments and teams to unite as one and forge ahead collaboratively. Stepping away from their focused and rigorous work at their desks, NEWEVER team members transformed into athletes on the court. Donning jerseys, they showcased their unique charm on the compact basketball court.
Once the whistle blew, the game heated up. Players launched fast breaks and counterattacks, while battles for position under the basket drew bursts of cheers. Passes, cuts, drives, defense, shots… Every move was smooth and precise, and every offensive and defensive play was made with full commitment.
Every steal and every rebound was gripping. The score see-sawed back and forth, with numerous nail-biting matches decided only in the final second. Cheers from the sidelines rose wave after wave. Shouts and applause intertwined, fully igniting the midsummer court. Jerseys were soaked in sweat, and roars echoed across the arena. Every moment of struggle embodied the spirit of solidarity and perseverance in the face of challenges shared by all NEWEVER team members.
This event featured not only intense official 3-on-3 basketball matches, but also fun team interactive games that balanced competition, amusement and teamwork, allowing all participants to immerse themselves in the charm of basketball. Away from the serious competitive matches, the fun games were filled with a relaxed, joyful and energetic vibe.
Compared with the 3V3 matches, the team fun games included challenge stations such as spot shooting, hand-in-hand relay dribbling, basketball bowling, and back-to-back ball carrying for pairs. Free from high-intensity one-on-one confrontation, these games put greater emphasis on teamwork and seamless coordination. There was no pressure to win or lose on the court, only enthusiasm and laughter shared by everyone. Participants supported one another and worked in perfect sync to calmly complete each challenge. They cheered each other up after mistakes and celebrated together when scoring, creating warm and heartwarming moments at every turn.
Striving on the court makes the most of youth, and every effort deserves glory! After a full day of fierce competition, the closing ceremony and awards presentation was grandly held. All awards were announced one by one, paying tribute to every player who gave their all on the court.
